It was supposed to be a relaxing day today...
...and then I came home.
I got a bit of a headache at my friend's house - probably from staring at his TV for too long, concentrating too hard on Space Channel 5 Part 2.
I brought my GameCube over to his house and realized I forgot the power cable. :( And I wanted to show them Eternal Darkness, too...
When I got home, Mom reminded me that I'm going to a Boat Cruise tomorrow (for volunteers at Rogers), which runs from 7:00pm to midnight, but currently 2 things are stopping me
1. I'm probably working on Saturday at Canadian Tire, which requires me to be there at 7:30am, and
2. I have no car, as my parents are going away for the weekend.
I have to get down to the Boat Cruise by TTC, then back, which'll take about an hour. And if I'm working the following day, then I have to wake up at 5:30 to get to work (by TTC, again) on time, which means I'll get maybe 4 hours of sleep.
This weekend is going to suck. If I had known a bit ahead of time... maybe did some planning, I would have gone with them. But now, I'll probably be either sitting at home, or sitting at work.
Some companies called me today... honestly, I'm thinking I won't do anything next week and wait for the damn phone to ring. What's the point in playing phone tag when you say "you're it" and then leave the house?
Head still hurts...
Maybe I can get Saturday off and go to the cruise. I'd like that more than sitting in the Cash Office all day. There's only a few more weeks left for Swap Shop, and I'd like to finish off the season, so not working on Saturday would leave me to go to the boat cruise and Swap Shop without time restrictions.
This Palm is not effective enough for me yet. I should be consulting it more often to see what's coming up for me... and of course, looking at it right now shows that nothing is happening for the next few weeks. At least, nothing for me. :(
