Today was a fairly relaxed day. Got up fairly early, went and picked up Offspring's newest album Splinter (the song The Worst Hangover Ever is frickin' brilliant, I might overplay that more than Hit That). I haven't finished listening to the whole CD yet, but I'm really enjoying it right now. ^_^

Took the TTC (gasp! Left my car at home) and went downtown to meet Dave, where we had lunch, then met Erin and wandered up to Game Zone and Game Centre and looked at games. Again, I have that "I don't need anything right now, I'm content" feel to it, which is kinda starting to spook me out.

But hey, saving money is a GOOD thing. XD I need to ... oh yeah... *pays off Visa bill* I need to save my money since I'm below my self-imposed limit on my bank account.

Went over to Dave's place following that and belted out a lot of tunes on his Karaoke Revolution...

Too bad I don't own a PS2. *shrug* There are several games I'd want a PS2 for (Manhunt, Karaoke Revolution, DDR Max/Extreme) but I can't reasonably get that system when I have so many Gamecube games here. I might just have to borrow or rent...

Anyhow, I also played Frequency, which is also fun, but tricky to get the hang of. I'd get used to it eventually I figure.

We then went out and picked up Mandarin Chinese food, came to my place, and watched a lot of anime. Abenobashi, Haibane Renmei, Hand Maid May... well, we didn't watch too much, but hey, 3 hours worth is a good dose. ^_^

I got a (very early) birthday gift today! :P Dave mentioned that he had bought my birthday gift already, and judging from what he'd get me, I figured it was a game - I let it slip during lunch that I thought it was a game, and within 2 guesses had guessed it. XD I've got Burnout 2 now, GO BUS!!!!!1!! Guess I'll have to work on my "Non-Young-Drivers" lessons.
