Today was sooo cool! Shu-chan's family went Strawberry picking today!
I've never done that before, but I had a great time. I wanna go back when the raspberries are in season - the strawberries were tasty and juicy, and right off the vine, too! :)
Shu-chan/Potter and Malfoy went picking strawberries with me as well, and following that we went to Pacific Mall, where I showed them my Para Para skills. My arms ache, tho - I think I elegantly flailed them too wildly :P
On the way back to the car, we finally got our thunderstorm - about 4 major cracks of thunder over the course of maybe 30 minutes. I saw one arcing across the sky as I was running to the car (a beautiful purple arc), and another one flashed over our car - it was like being hit by camera flashes from all directions, followed by the BANG a few seconds later right above the car.
Anyone know where I can find Melon Soy Milk in Toronto?
My body kinda aches at the moment - I've been DDRing again. I DDRed with Potter at Pacific Mall, and I have this feeling that her foot will be hurting tomorrow, because she's done a lot of strenuous activity on it :|
Malfoy and I talked about where we're going with our futures... both of us are kinda in the same boat in that we're not really sure what we want to go to. I've love to be interning at Silicon Knights, but if I were to get a job at AA, I'd drop the internship thing in a heartbeat. I'm so confused...
Oh! I finally saw the Harry Potter movie today! What a great film. I want to read the books now - Shu-chan's been talking about them so much that it's intrugued me to find out what the fuss is all about ;) I'm a Gryffindor, so Potter and Malfoy are gonna make me a cape and scarf ^_^ We'll need them for when we're standing out in the cold for the Chamber of Secrets in November... :)
I gotta work on finding the pieces to my Faust costume. Malfoy identified his jacket as a labcoat - *smacks head* of course! How silly of me. Giant Scalpel, floating in on an umbrella with a tiny medical kit... I'll have to make a journey to a Value Village/Goodwill to find those clothes. Icky-green Khaki pants, bright-blue shirt and tie... Black Model Magic for the Bulbs... lots of belts and clips.
Oh, and yes... Eternal Darkness is pure sweetness. Reading a few reviews that say the game is approx 20-40 hours, plus an extra ending that appears when you complete the game three different ways, I'll be playing for a long time yet. I've seen my first psychological effect - I saw blood dripping down the walls... very convincing, and it made me shiver.
Alright, my body is screaming due to the exertion I put on it today. Time for bed.
