So, I'm sufficiently stuffed. I had a really nice Christmas.
Slept-in until 11 (for once!) and then had Christmas with my family - Jake went crazy with the wrapping paper, until about halfway through when I gave him his gift (he tore the paper off himself), which he then carried around for a little while - I gave him a Jumbone, one of this MASSIVE treatsnackish things for him to chew on - he immediately stopped tearing up every scrap of wrapping paper and attacked the bone until it was gone! O.O It was completely oblitherated in the expanse of an hour. XD
Anyhow, I didn't ask for much this year - My "big gift" this year was actually asking for money for TK. Since he was a big purchase, I felt (although I probably should have mentioned it sooner to other family members and cousins :P) that if they gave me money instead of gifts, they would be contributing towards something I've been wanting for a long time. In any case, Mom and Dad gave me money to cover TK's "head operation". I also got a wonderful set of four bamboo chopsticks (incredibly light, and so beautiful!), a couple of car accessories (maplight and compass - blue plastic, of course), a decorating "icing syringe" (so I guess I'll be baking cakes soon enough and practicing my handiwork LOL), chocolate coins, and a Far Side Calendar.
Seanna got me the first season of The Simpsons on DVD! Wow! :D I was talking with her on Christmas Eve about Box Sets... heehee ^_^
We visited our cousins out in Newmarket today, and had a blast. Their house is large enough to actually seperate the young cousins from the adults, and they have a large enough dining room to actually have everyone at one table! It was a very nice evening, and I think almost everyone overstuffed themselves with all the food we had... particularily the chocolates... *burp* there was this Chocolate Pizza that had soft nuts and marshmallows in it, that was incredible, and unexpectedly chewy. I thought it was going to be a heavy nut-filled chocolate, but I was wrong.
Anyhow, I ate way too much turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes...
I'm turning in since everyone else here is dead-tired, and I'm planning to try to win a $500 Gift Certificate at a Best Buy "Boxing Day" deal tomorrow (@ 7 in the morning), I need to get some sleep, even if I don't buy anything, it's just worth a chance.
