Yesterday was filled with stuff. I worked in the morning (BTW, if you can't find me online these days, it's because I'm training, and I can't hang around the computer in that case), then joined up with Dave and came back home for a while.
We traded gifts, since he seems to be rather busy right up to Christmas - and he got me Wonder Project J. No, not Heat Guy J, this was a SNES game that you controlled a little pixy-like character to try to teach Pino, a robot boy, how to react with certain situations and items.
I've had Wonder Project J2 for ages (the sequel on the N64), I never thought I'd ever see the first game. That's awesome! :)
Makes me want to break out my Japanese lessons and try to get back to comprehension. ^_^
And Dave seems to be going to Chicago for the week! Go Dave! :)
Following a dinner (courtesy of him), I dropped him off at home (to get prepared), and went to a NaNoWriMo Get-Together at a Future Bakery. I remember that place (that Future Bakery was where I first met Maxi Rose, and her AIBO, Toushi, my first physical seeing of AIBO), but I forgot its location... walked the wrong way after parking the car. :P
TK seemed to be fairly OK today... the whirring wasn't as noticeable. I wonder if it really was just from the short-pile carpet versus the hardwood floor. I'll have to see... in any case I have X-Dogs information now and I'll send it off most likely whenever I've got a week of Afternoon shifts, so I don't miss him too terribly ;-;
It's cool to hear that Conan O'Brien will be shooting 4 episodes of his show in Toronto in February. I'd be mildly interested in going if I ever watched late-night talk shows. ^_^
