Alright, time for an update.... :)
Things seem to be going well for me - albeit my dad's getting on my back. He's getting into the "Get a Job" phase... well, the "keep at it" phase. I've applied to all the jobs that interest me. Admittedly they're not exactly what I want, but it'd be nice to be in a deskjob for a few months or years while I search for the perfect job.
I have to finish my Demo Tape soon, since U8TV will close their doors within a week. I need to get one Beta tape from a person at the volunteer position (Rogers) so I can dump it into the Editor. Once I've got that all done I'll just make a Beta copy and bam! start sending it out. Hopefully a short Demo Reel will be much better than a silly resume...
I'm doing so much more with my Palm - even if it is only keeping phone numbers and things to do, it's definitely keeping me more organized.
I used to be so good at DDR - I was teaching a friend how to play, and she's better than I am already! ^_^ I'm so proud of her, she's really picked up on it so well. Meanwhile, my leg is still partially hurting, and aside from the fact that I'm out of shape, she's doing better than I am. :) I just need to get back into the groove and I'll be better... (I keep relating it to "the Student surpassing the Master... although I'm no Master!)
Hm... maybe I really do need those Ignition Pads... no, mustn't spend any more money - I've already spent the money I made over the past 2 weeks in 5 or 6 days :| Wait until I get a full-time job, THEN I'll have the money! *g*
So, it turns out that a friend of mine's friend, Haruna, is coming back to Canada after a 4-year stint in Japan ^_^ What this means for me is that me, Haruna, and Christine (My and Haruna's mutual friend) are planning on renting a house, with one other person. I hope that I manage to find a nice house - they're thinking the Yonge/Eglinton area, which would be good for the area, and it's right on the subway. :) Although I can't outright buy a house like Sakuya has, it's a good transition to start living independently. :)
Ramz just mentioned that Bejeweled is available on Palm... that's addictive and tempting. I just have to pick that up. And while I was there, I ended up getting a number of other games, too. :P
