Well, I've seen a number of things tonight.

I went after work to URAnime and saw Abenobashi Magical Shopping District, Sexy Commando, and Texhnolyze (which, upon its second viewing, still did not make much sense - but I am wanting to see more to see if "more" actually occurs).

I returned home, blasting music all the way (*smug*), and started setting things up for the Gathering. My Mom says Dad's interested in the DVD Player, so I'll leave the one I'm not using in the living room. Makes it easier for me too, since I don't have to hook it up every time I have a Gathering there. XD

I turn on the TV to find that Samurai Jack is about to start, and so I decide to watch. It was a Western-based episode, and it was quite good, considering it was right in middle of the series somewhere (episode 29, I believe). Very funny, and nce action sequences. I'm pretty sure I heard something to the effect of "Genndy Tartovsky [the creator/director] can create wahtever he wants because all of his past shows have been popular - Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, and now Samurai Jack." Very impressive lineup he's done. Didn't he do another show?

Just before Samurai Jack was on, I saw some of the new Spider-Man. It's cel-shaded 3D animation. A few moments and I said to myself - it must be a Mainframe [ReBoot, Transformers: Beast Wars] production. And I was right. No matter what style their 3D animation is, the little things done to the animation (leaning forward whenever they sneer, for example) is very indicitive of Mainframe.

I left the TV on after Samurai Jack only to catch the opening of Inu-Yasha. I love the song but I'm not very particular for the show. XD

Oh, and then I came back downstairs and saw that my BitTorrent link for the new Matrix: Revolutions trailer is done. It seems that the webserver hosting the movie is fizzling out, so grab the BitTorrent version and you'll have it done in 10-20 minutes. ^_^

I think this BitTorrent thing is going to take off. There are LOTS of companies that are now providing BitTorrent links for demos and movie trailers, because when people release a 200MB "demo" of a wildly-anticipated game is released, you KNOW their webservers are going to be overloaded. By sharing the file amongst fellow fans, we get the program earlier and it doesn't cost a HUGE amount of a bandwidth bill.

Better get to bed. :)

Tomorrow, I'm going to make Tako's Black and Tan cookies again - and this time, I'm going to see two things: One, if I cook fast at a higher heat, they seem to retain their shape, and Two, If I twist them correctly, they really could look like Yin-and-Yang cookies. ^_^
