Last night was strangely quiet. I enjoyed it, for once. ^_^ Usually, when I say I'm going to relax, I do things that I haven't had time to do because I've been too busy.
Today was one of those "relaxing" days. :P
Dad told me that Dockers was having a sale at The Bay, so I went over there, and discovered that Dockers doesn't seem to make shorts. X| And I couldn't find any cargo pants in my size, either. X| X|
Checked out Sears - they had the exact same sale on - "except for pants whose price ends in .97". O.o No luck there either.
Mom gave me a coupon for a free bottle of perfume to pick up while I was there. I think the perfume lady gave me a strange look when I accepted the free bottle for my Mom. :P
Went to the Sony Store and bugged a guy about the new AIBO, and he said the Yorkdale store "has the new one there". >_> I don't think he mean the ERS-7... >_>
But, as many AIBO owners are saying on the boards right now, there will be a glut of AIBOs being sold for cheap on eBay come November (when the ERS-7 comes out). Hmmm... >_>
*starts saving money* XD
And lastly, went to Canadian Tire and got a Salad Spinner and Travel Alarm Clock for Mom, and a Y-Splitter. Whee. I also got asked to buy a 3-month subscription to National Post and I'd get $25 in a Canadian Tire gift certificate. One of these days, I'll say "Sorry, I work for a News Station" and walk off.
Heh, so on the way home, I'm really worried about the car, and I determine that something in the right-front section of the car makes a loud BUMP noise when I stop or start quickly.
I had checked the wheel and parts around it when I was at Canadian Tire, and didn't see anything, and when I move or accelerate slowly, there's no sound.
So I open the glove compartment, thinking there might be something in there that I don't remember putting there and voila - there's a flashlight in there, swinging around and hitting the compartment walls. XD
As well, I just remembered that I've been trying to fix my lava lamp for ages. I finally remembered while on the web and found a website for fixing it. I'll have to follow his instructions.
