Yay! As of yesterday I'm finally back above the self-imposed limit that I try to keep my bank account at.
And it's at the limit where I would've bought the AIBO, too - had I not decided against it and such. I think I'll just hold onto the money for now - who knows what I'll need to use it for in the coming months.
I'm working on the Programming at work today. Jorge forwarded me the schedule and now I need to add the descriptions for the shows and Episode Numbers so that both our Master Control and TV Guide knows what's being shown. Now I hope that TV Guide actually implements it this week.
After work today, I'm going to the Neil Gaiman signing. I really don't know too much about him, but I've started reading Preludes and Nocturnes that Ysa lent me (and will be signed by this evening :D ). It's fascinating. ^_^
Speaking of reading, I was watching the Detective Conan movie recently (the SIXTH one!), called The Phantom of Baker Street. Watching that show wants me to read some Sherlock Holmes novels, and to write more of my "Kid Detective" stories. I really want to make that into a kids' TV show, and considering the success of shows like that in the 80's (remember Read All About It? It was a detective-type show that also dealt in journalism, and featured a talking television and "talking" printer. ^_^), I feel that it would be successful now. It just needs to be fast-paced and flashy to keep their attention, tho.
Nothing a little bit of colourful CG couldn't fix ^_^
*looks at bank account again* I love how when you pay bills, they subtract the money immediately from your bank account, but it doesn't get pay the bill off until the next business day. </sarcasm>
Anyhoo, back to work.
