Before I install the Air Conditioner at Emily's place tonight, I wanted to get some information as to how, exactly, you install such a big, heavy thing, out a window without the weight of it sending it crashing three stories down. O.o (That's me, Mr. Worry.)
So, I went to H2G2.com (Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Eath Edition) and looked up Air Conditioners. Unfortunately, there were no instructions on how to install such a beast, but I did find an informative article on what you do, should your Air Conditioner die.
Then, I Googled it and found this article. The "downward slope" worries me, but if that's the way it works, so be it. :) It seems to use the sill as its support.
I used to visit Learn2.com a lot when the internet was still a fledgeling... it had tutorials on everyday things, like how to tie a knot, or make bubbles. It was entertaining. Now, it's just part of Tutorials.com, which teaches Microsoft Office. *shrug*
