OMG OMG Blue Man Group is at the Air Canada Centre on Wednesday for One Night Only!

squee I'm so excited now! I really like the Blue Man Group, but I haven't purchased any of their music - mainly because half of the music comes from the performances. Check out this short little commercial - these "backpacks" were used at the Grammy's with Moby and Jill Scott, singing "Natural Blues". You may have seen these guys doing commercials for Pentium III processors. :P
I can't find my video of them with Moby and Jill Scott... ;_; Anyone out there have a copy of it?
So, I'm BitTorrenting away this morning, and I notice that suddenly I can't pick up Nurse Witch Komugi-chan. Turns out it's been licensedby ADV! O_O Sweet... I figure that all this downloading through BitTorrent will be for naught because Anime Expo this weekend is going to snap up a number of licenses I want...
Also aquired that have caught my interest:
Kino No Tabi (Kino's Journey) - The Story of a young boy (Kino) and his talking motorcycle, Hermes. Picked up by ADV.
Jungle Guu (!!!!) - picked up by AN Entertainment (Anime Nation). Maybe there's hope for me to get Detective Conan yet...
Technolyze - picked up by Pioneer. They also have Lain and Haibane Renmei, so it's no surprise.
GAH!!!!! Detective Conan, picked up by Funimation! W00000t! 104 episodes and 2 movies... not bad, that's 1/3 of the series and 1/3 of the movies that's been produced so far! *very very happy*
So, after work today I went to the Celebrate Toronto Street Festival. I saw some really amazing things there - I primarily went to see the Robot Riots, which was, in a word, tiny. I didn't know Mike Bullard had a 'Bot, tho. (I guess all Late-Night Talk-Show hosts need a 'Bot now...)
I also saw the Tower of Power trampoline show. It's performances like that that make me want to take up trampolining :) These guys were awesome, doing flips and stunts that are very similar to snowboarding and BMX biking.
Finally, I saw the Zero-Gravity Circus, and ended up being a volunteer. The guy made me hold a carrot in my teeth, and he cut it in half (not lengthwise) while I was blindfolded. Tricky guy, too. "On the count of three! One, Two, *slice* -- Three!"
I've gotta go take Jake for a walk, and maybe eat some dinner before turning in. Nightnight :)
P.S. I saw a used copy of BoomBots for $10 at EBGames. Should I get it? It features claymation and music by that crack-and-clay-smoking Neverhood msuic guy.
