Hi everyone! Just a quick note to mention that no, Christine and I have not disappeared, but rather we have just returned from my parent's cottage. Not many pictures this time around, but then again, I think I still haven't really posted pictures recently... should work on that...

Ysa was dropped off at the airport last Monday and is (theoretically) home safely? Before she left I was able to return her Harry Potter book, so I am safely spoiler-free! I am willing to discuss stuff, but is there really a need? I've found that the book wraps things up rather nicely - spoiler ) By the by, when is it okay to start talking openly about spoilers? I know there's not a cut-and-dry solution to it all, but I mean most people will have read it in the first month or two...

However, we are exhausted, and I'll update later. I wonder what went on this past week... (I am so covered in mosquito bites. I must be tasty to them... Itchy. Tasty.)

Have a great long weekend/Caribana/Simcoe Day weekend! I'm gonna stay in all weekend and relax from my holiday! :P (I did not know that Ontario used to be called Upper Canada. Weird!)

Here's an interesting article: It's been discovered that being a gamer (particularily MMORPGs) may give you a step-up at work due to the multitasking and leadership abilities you develop from within the game.

Speaking of games, I've recently heard that following the Manhunt 2 debacle, the makers of Condemned 2 have gone back to the drawing board and stepped-down the violence in their game. Apparently Indigo Prophecy also had a sex scene removed from the game for the North American release, but you can still buy the "Director's Cut"... hey, look, an AO rating! Aside from "Playboy: The Game" that's the only other game I've seen that rating on.

And in other game news, Sousaphone Hero isn't selling very well... :\

I am addicted to this ultra-poppy theme from Kokoro Scan, which is apparently a DS "game" that detects your mood through the tone and inflections in your voice. It apparently is part of a series in Japan which has been released here as "Mind Quiz" (which also recently caught some flak for using the term "spaz" in Europe).

OMG, Doctor Who stuff at ThinkGeek! I need to start watching that again... I miss seeing it. :( (This Shock Ball looks entertaining, too :P)
