(no subject)

Reminder to self: After getting an eye exam, don't do stuff that requires going outside for a while. Ow. That pupil-dilating stuff just totally threw my eyes wide open. Driving to the Royal LePage to get/sign more documents was interesting - thankfully I had sunglasses. And then I went to go paint, and basically did that for over 3 hours. At least I got one coat of the brown paint done.

I then proceeded to go to the supermarket, pick up potatoes and meat for a Japanese Curry tonight, and boiled the potatoes for Hash Browns this morning (which, because I spent so much time reading legal papers and boiling potatoes, I went to bed late and woke up late, and didn't have Hash Browns. :( I had to settle on Lemon Danishes. :P)

NO PAINTING TONIGHT! I really don't want to, and besides, that paint should really cure before I work on it more. I know for a fact that my rolling is shoddy tho, because working by streetlights (again) was not good for me noticing if I got all the white painted over. (Undoubtedly I'll have to do some touch-ups in the cracks.)

I got word this morning that Maroon 5's CD has been certified Double-Platinum! Congrats to them! :D

I've just been watching the shooting/hostage situation that occured in front of Union Station. Now I'm scared. I'm certain I'll hear more about this in the afternoon, but what the heck happened? *shiver* I hope no-one got caught in that.

Ok, I'm hitting two keys at the same time and missing letters altogether (i.e. being completely incomprehensible), which means my day's off to a good start. :P

I'm actually starting my own, anyhow. XD From the everyday things I have to have (like, oh, tea) to the stuff I don't really need, but would like to have (Blik Invader wall decorations), to the stuff I think would be beneficial in the long run (a composter to put on the balcony). It's not very big right now, but It'll grow with time. I should mark down that I need tables, too. Otherwise the housewarmings is going to be on the floor (not that that's a bad thing, I'd like to provide somewhere for food and drinks to go other than onto the rug).

I finally discovered, thanks to Toys R Us, that the Atmosfear DVD game will be out around September 12th. Hint, Hint ;)

Tomorrow the Air Conditioning supposed to be completed (barring power), and we're bringing in the racks of our old equipment, partially wired. Hurray! We're finally going to have our old/new system!

I did so much painting last night I didn't even go on the computer. How freakin' bizarre is that? :P

I still - oh shoot. I just remembered that I have a bit of a list to deliver to the Broker regarding my mortgage, which includes paystubs, bank statements, letter of employment, etc... I should really take the next hour to go through my papers upstairs and organize them. It'd make things easier for when I move, too.

But first, I'm going to walk Jake over to the Dominion and get Milk and Marshmallows! ...because we're out of Milk and I have a craving to make Rice Krispies Squares. XD
