I don't think I have any American friends who read this and have a GameCube, but Toys R Us is having a "buy 2 get 1 free" sale for most of their games. ;_; Seems to be only available in the States, too. Bwah.

Anyhow... EGM had an article last month about showing some young kids (10-to-12-year olds) the games that we used to play when we were young. Games like Pong, Donkey Kong, and stuff like that. It's disturbing. Sit me in front of these games, and I'd love it. Nostalgia, here I come!

This is also saddening, that kids can't see the fun in the games, they need all the flashy graphics and funky ideas and freakin' BOMBS in TETRIS. >o<

(Then again, making the long "Tetris" block red might make the kids think they're dynamite sticks or something... and who says video games make people violent? When I see a kid bludgeoning another kid in the playground with one of the Tetris "S" shapes, then I'll consider it violent...)
