Well, today's been and gone. I'll most likely crash in a few hours because I'm still sick with a headcold, and I want to get rid of it before the Gathering on Saturday.

I went to work at 6:30am, as usual, and then left it around 9:00 to meet up with Paul and Sid to go over the layout of the new room we'll be moving into, hopefully in Mid-May. It feels good that I can help organize this, and see how this place will come together in a few weeks' time.

I finally met Michael Ryan, the consultant turned CEO. A very straight, by-the-book kind of man. He's got a good aura about him. :)

The meeting went much longer than expected - ran from 10:00 to 1:00. I wasn't expecting that much time was needed. :P

Over lunch, Paul told me that they're getting the AVID Editing system soon, and if anything, I should be the one handling upgrades and all the Administrative (oh, sorry, "Power User" on WinXP) stuff. Cool. ^_^

After all the organizing was done, Paul and I headed back to the station because Paul was replacing Erich for tonight's shift. The Profile had frozen in the 5 hours we had left it alone. O_o I blame the "Real-Time Processor" - that's what the error message was pointing to and it always seems to be that. I think it needs to be replaced.

I returned home after fixing that (leaving Paul to his devices - he's got to run inventory on the stuff that's running the station) and played Wind Waker. I just finished it about 10 minutes ago. ^_^

It seems shorter than a normal Zelda game - Servo was a bit right in that the game seems shorter... It may have been because I've played Zelda for ages, but also a lot of the game is unnecessary. You don't have to go about and do some "errands" to get through the whole game, but it makes it easier because most of those errands end up with extra carrying capacity or more life or whatnot. And it's fun to go to all the islands, even if I can't read the maps. (I figured them out, eventually...)

Go away, headcold! *goes to get some tea and chicken soup*
