Feels like a weekend, but it's only Thursday... Feh.
Cleaning up the house today - parents are coming home from the Bahamas today (probably with tanned skin - I'm always so pale it scares people :P )
I'm going to make my special Authentic Beef Stroganoff tonight. Not canned Cream of Mushroom soup and hamburger - I've pulled out a project I did back in First Year College (which was "how to make Authentic Beef Stroganoff") and I'm gonna follow the instructions.
I got the wrong type of meat when I went shopping. Had to go back and pick up another round steak. :P
Still looking for a full-time job - yesterday one of the Interns (who hasn't been there for three weeks) comes to me and congratulates me on getting the position. How come the intern (who hasn't been there for three weeks, anyway) knows that I have the job and I haven't heard anything from a higher-up yet? I bet they're wanting to save their money and wait until my current stint of work shifts stops (which is after this weekend is over).
Which reminds me... I should check Bell ExpressVu. Perhaps they may have a position or two.
sigh They don't have any jobs immediately listed... guess I'll just forward them a resume blindly.
Still looking for a new home, too... I may very well drop myself into an apartment sometime, but I would like a condo - now if only I'd have a stable job that assures me that I wouldn't need to move out of the city... :|
I'm also thinking I might move into a house with 2 or 3 other people from High School. It costs less and gives us more space :)
*shrug* But that's not until I get a stable job. Heck, the retail giant wants me back, too :| But there, even the Cash Office full-timer suggests that I just work the two weekends and that'd be fine (which is true... but if I get a shiftwork at the TV station or a 8-5 position anywhere I'm screwed for relaxation, organization and social time).
Back to cleaning. Latez.
