Today was another long, uneventful day. I worked from 6:30am to 4:30pm today, and the extra 2 hours I worked today means I get off of work tomorrow at 12:30pm. ^_^ I haven't been to Chinatown in so long, I'd better make sure I've got some money with me ^_^

News articles that caught my eye today:
Note that I don't really pay attention to the Iraq thing. All I want to to know is: Are we at war? No? Good.
Jesica Santillan. She was given a replacement heart and lungs, only to discover that the hospital did not check that the bloodtypes matched... so they were being rejected. I really hate the media (sadly, the career path I chose) sometimes. I feel an incredible amount of sadness for that 17-year old girl, because of what she has gone through within the past 2 weeks. I couldn't imagine how terrifying having a heart attack and a seizure would be at her age, much less because her body itself is attacking the (foreign) heart and lungs.
But today, they mention that the family paid an immigrant smuggler to get into the US from Mexico. It doesn't matter to me, but now there will be a bunch of people complaining that a) they're illegal immigrants, and b) they're theiving from American citizens. If news outlets didn't report that, the outcry/complaint wouldn't occur.
Concorde drops rich & famous in Halifax. Seanna's living there, and a couple of celebrities were passing-by when a Concorde experienced some technical problems. Can you imagine Naomi Campbell in a Cat in the Hat hat?

An H2G2 article brings up Cricket: An Apology. A great article (with tons of humour) about how Cricket is played. I still don't quite get it, but I think I might be able to watch it and just laugh now ^_^

Only 2 Bash links today, but the first one features an awesome Hannibal Lecter impersonation ^_^
