Jake is ultra-hyper right now for no apparent reason. O_o

I think Millia Rage is getting just a bit lazy... -->
Ok, I think I'm going to stop looking at eBay items for a while. I just got Skullmonkeys in the mail today (the sequel to Neverhood, on the Playstation), and once I sat down and checked my e-mail, I've now won an auction for a RedOctane Ignition pad (DDR Mat) ^_^
Maybe if Anime North's nice to me I'll lend it to them... why the hell did I even think that? Last year they had a DDR room, alright... a small room with no circulation, those flimsy $30 pads (which, I hear, broke 2 hours into the start of the con) and... ugh... sweaty people. You could smell it out in the hallway *barf* Get a well-ventilated room and rent an Official DDR machine, ya geeks! O_o
Speaking of AN... cosplay. Last year was Hideki in his Yorokonde uniform (and was *not* really recognized 'cause Chobits wasn't popular THEN *sigh*), this year... hrm... I'm thinking of doing Walter from Hellsing, if only for the cool razor-wire glove. Maybe on another day - If I'm motivated enough, I'll do Washi from Haibane Renmei - the mask looks cool... check it out.
There's still a bit of work that needs to be done at IPTN. A system called "GPI Triggers" needs to be installed into the Logo system so that we can automate our little logo appearing and disappearing during specific shows. (Kinda like all the other TV stations where they have their logo in the corner only on shows themselves.) One of the techies was in today, putting it all together... and it looks right - I double-checked the wires with him - and it doesn't work.
Surprise, Surprise, Surprise.
After everyone left for the day (leaving me to look over the wiring and seeing what might be the problem), I look in the manual for the Logo system. It mentions that a certain jumper has to be set up correctly on the board (like a motherboard in a computer), so I take the board out, and try to locate the jumper...
...uhm, I found the Jumper spot... but it's not connected to anything, nor is it possible to connect the two wires together because the two wires to connect don't exist on that jumper... O_o
The manual states that the specific jumper is disabled and not installed as a factory default... meaning it might not accept a GPI Trigger at all to work O_o
My hand cramps up every night at work... wanna know why? Because I write out 3-4 pages of paper every night, writing down what was shown on the overnight! O_o I wonder where I can find a cheap printer...
Today I took my dinner (for once) and didn't go anywhere near work to eat. Because of that, I forgot to go out and get a lottery ticket. I was going to use some lucky number that Saku had in a fortune cookie, but sadly one of the numbers is out of the playing range. v_v Well, since she's 22, I'll replace that too-high number with that...
How intruiging. I remember Dad bought one of those "Lottery Trend Analysis" programs a LONG time ago in an attempt to win the lottery. Now, the Lottery Corp actually posts what numbers appear with what frequency. It's not like that'll help anyone win, but I wonder how many people choose the top 7 numbers every week...
Oh yeah, I also got a $5 gift certificate from Spencer Gifts today. It's a bonus for being a member, like those "Loyalty Cards". I may use it and get one of those little Sound-activated Lightstick machines whatchamacallits. Yeah, this thing.
