I went to a Kitchen Ceilidh (pronounced "kay-lee") after the X-Files at the Firkin around the corner from my house, just 'cause I heard about it this morning on the radio and it sounded like something fun to do. :)
The Kitchen Ceilidhs are sponsored by Alexander Keiths, and although I didn't buy any beer, it was a great hour of fiddle, bagpipes, and a bit of rock by Enter The Haggis. Do all Celtic bands have slightly goofy names like that?
If you live in Canada, I'd suggest checking the Alexander Keiths website and seeing if there's one near you in the near future. My ears are deaf at the moment (I can barely hear uh-ohs on ICQ because of it). It's a fun rockin' couple of hours. :)
