One of the funniest moments of the day was one of the Junk Mail ads we got today...
"With the cold weather setting in, you've probably had your furnace running for a little while."
An ad to get your Furnace repaired to make sure it's operating correctly. ^_^
We've definitely had it running only a "little while"... :P
Nothing happened at work today - no-one came in to work on the systems - apparently they're missing a piece or something. Uh-oh.
I was requested to design our "House Number" system, which is how we identify each show and when it was recorded. I have an idea, and we'll see how it works out. (At one point, the consultant thought that the News show was unimportant to the station! O_o)
Just before dinner tho, I realized that I think I'm losing my mind. Similar to my want to be a cat and laze around all day, I felt like just getting up and leaving it all behind to live in the wild. O_o Of course, common logic ("it's damn freezing outside") prevented it from going any further, but I'm not feeling all here right now. O_o
Maybe I'm thinking too much...
I'm gonna go play some games and turn in early. There's supposed to be a guy coming in tomorrow to get the dishwasher working, but we don't know when that is, so I guess I should wake up around 10ish (when Mom leaves) to greet him - otherwise it's the "stranger walking into an empty house" thing again O_o

January 13, 2003 - As seen in the Globe and Mail (!):
Video game makers Enix Corp. and Square Co. said they mey review terms of a planned merger, in a development that shows the challenge Japan's video game industry faces as it tries to expand beyond its entrepreneurial roots. A spokesman at Tokyo-based Square said the company's founder and shareholder, Masafumi Miyamoto, has objected to the terms of the deal. The plan called for Enix to buy Square in a stock exchange of one Square share for 0.81 of an Enix share.
We are starting over! DDREXtreme pictures! Damn! I wanna play! Songs here!

You are orange. You are emotional. Outside, you are bitter and stubborn, inside you are hopeful, hoping someone will come save you from the bitterness of your own mind. You constantly feel the need to prove yourself, and you look up to those who can make thier dreams happen. You are broken, but not beyond repair like maroon.
What inner color are you?

Uhhh...
Jan 13th (The Magicbox)
- Bloomberg reported that Enix and Square have revised the terms for the merger between the two companies, under the new agreement, the ratio will become 0.85 for Square (increased from 0.81) and 1.0 for Enix. The new terms is intended to resolved the disagreement from Square's largest shareholder Masashi Miyamoto, who previously dissatisfied with the terms.
