It's been quite the day today. I'm kinda floating on a cloud right now, here's what I've been doing:

- Woke up around 7:30, alarm was for 8:15, Work at 10:00. That let me wake up slowly and not rushed at all as I made a pot of tea, and scrambled eggs with toast.
- Left around 9:00 to get to the library to pick up a pair of books that were on hold. Along the way stopped into the SuperCentre to find concealer (I'm breaking out, oddly, but this stuff works wonders), and I also happened to discover they carry white corn syrup which I needed for a modeling-chocolate recipe I need to work on.
- Got over to the library and picked up Reality Is Broken and Angel (the next Maximum Ride book).
- Got in to work on-time, and got a call from the repair shop that the cost for repairing the TV is $90 for a replacement Capacitor and will be ready for pickup tonight, as opposed to an expected $200-300 and 1-2 weeks.
- Did my standard work at Bell.
- Got a call from COBS and they will be putting together an offer that I should be able to accept early next week. :D

The only thing that would make this day better is that if everyone else who's reading this had equally just as awesome days. :D I hope you had a great one!

The only thing I'm looking for right now to complete the day is a Grape Kool-Aid Slushie. They used to have pre-made packs for it, but I'm sure there's recipes about. :D

Well, day hasn't been *as* awesome. I'm just waiting on my first big MLP: FiM fic to be cleared through Equestria Daily's pre-readers. ^^ If it gets passed, then it'll be awesome.

Eeeeeeee :O What kind of offer?? What happens when you accept it? (Like, does this mean that you're QUITTING next week, or just finding out more...?)

It should mean -- holy crap, I didn't even mention the title! Assistant Bakery Manager! -- It should mean that I'll be able to give my 2 weeks next week!

S'funny, I'm not even working next week... ;P

Oh holy cow :O:O:O:O:O:O Eeee!

So what kind of things are being settled at your meeting next week?

Well, with the phone call with Mark Duffy today, we went over just a few questions - simply, compensation and amount of time necessary to give Bell (which I said I'd shorten to 2 weeks, otherwise I'm just dragging things out further, and my work schedule's practically in 2-week chunks anyway), and the plan is for him to get HR to draw up the papers so that I can go over them early next week.

He mentioned that we'll work out where exactly I'll be positioned, but he mentioned Newmarket, and there's only one there currently. It's a little bit of a drive - 45 minutes, and North of the city - but that means I'd be going against the flow drive-wise (especially depending on the times I may be working), I can't complain :)

I guess the hours will be worked out then, too - I know how the hours are not exactly 9-to-5 but working as an Assistant Manager may give me something along those hours, unless they're expecting something else :)

Mark was saying that Rob-owner's-son and the Owner (not really clear on which was Manager and which was Assistant Manager regardless of ownership) of the bakery he worked in started between 3 and 4 in the morning and worked 9+ hours. I guess the hours would depend on what exactly they define an assistant manager as over there (paper-work v. dough-work.

Also: HOLY SHIT YAY FOR FREEDOM AND BAKERY!

Just as you said - I think it all depends on what I have to do. At the COBS I did my DoT (Demonstration of Talent) I was working from 5am-1pm, and the two franchisees came in and worked a 9-to-5. They told me that some days they're holed up in the office for most of the day working numbers, some days they would do breadwork, some days they would be working the front, some days all three. I dunno if I'll be a 9-to-5 but the hours definitely won't be static, I'm pretty certain.

And YES YAY FOR FREEDOM!

Which reminds me that I was going to poke about ordering some cuppies (James is turning 2 and those are addictive!) but it seems like you're going to be busy. :D

If you're with them I guess I'm going to have to start seeking out this bakery.

I know that I won't be able to make my Cuppies at COBS; it's just not something they're aiming to get into. Besides, they have scones. :D

However, that doesn't mean I can't make my own Cuppies at home still! They haven't seemed to really think I was much of a threat to their business. ^^

Just let me know and I'll get you a couple dozen :)
