Alright, I may be a bit grumpy, hungry and tired at this point in time, but I figure it's about time I do another linkdump to clear some of these tabs, now that I got them all synced-up thanks to Firefox Sync. I'm drinking some grape juice and I have some apples, peanut butter and tuna (not mixed together, I'm not that strange) so let's power through them!
However, let's just start right there with Firefox Sync. I don't like how it's handled the Laptop and Desktop. I figured what I could do is close Firefox on the Desktop, and those tabs would be integrated into my Laptop when I open Firefox there. However, that's not the case - you go to the Laptop, then click a "Open Tabs from Other Computers" and it opens a webpage with all your links. Also, since I don't have Firefox 4 on the Laptop yet, it didn't sync my passwords, so while I can log into Thebox.bz on my Desktop, I can't for the life of me remember the password for the site for when I want to access it on the Laptop. Though, at the same time, I wouldn't want to run torrents on the Wi-Fi, but that's besides the point. It's imperfect and I don't think I'll be using it for consolidating that often. (It also took about 10 minutes to sync my Laptop, for some reason. It's only 2 megs of data; it shouldn't take that long!)
Rainbow Cakes. This idea is rather simple to execute (but rather messy, since it uses 6 bowls) but I really should make this sometime. I just made Red Velvet Cupcakes this past week and they were delicious, and just as red as they should've been. Like, you know those containers of gel that you normally use a couple of toothpicks' worth to get the colour? Yeah, you use two containers worth in one batch. And from what I've been told, people are expecting to taste that artificial flavour. To each their own, I guess, but I may want to try to make one more chocolatey and a deeper red...
Speaking of food, how about this for a success story - $50 for three pints of Premium Ice Cream, local ingredients, hand-delivered by bicycle all around Manhattan, and the girl has a 1,500-person waiting list. Impressive work! Maybe I should've gone into ice cream rather than cookies. XD
For you MLP:FiM fans, Here's an awesome "What does it feel like to fly?" response to which I can't really put into words. I've never been a writer, but I enjoy the descriptiveness of it all. :D
This is really old already (and by "old" I mean 6 weeks ago): "Watson" defeats humans at Jeopardy. Despite the one answer that all Torontonians despise (we're not an American City), Watson did a pretty incredible job of answering questions, despite Jeopardy's puns and wordplay. (A recent episode of Quirks & Quarks revealed that one of the things we'd need to feed computers like Watson is every nuance of the English language for it to be really effective. For example, Which is bigger: Northern Europe or Europe? Now, Which is bigger: North America, or America? This may be why Watson thought Toronto was an American city.) I haven't watched the episodes yet... actually, maybe I'll do that now. ^^

! In this interview, he tells people to follow their muse to define yourself, and not your job. I'm still crossing my fingers, but maybe I should put those crossed fingers into some other bakeries in the meanwhile...
The Toronto Pinball League (of which I was a part of) go a write-up on Torontoist. It's a nice article for those who enjoy pinball, or even the vibrant colours of the machines themselves. :)
I... thought I had a lot more links than that. However, I feel better already...

I can tell you this would only work in places like Manhattan where far too many rich people with way too much money live ;) This is one of those things where you'd probably try it once just to see how good the ice cream actually is, but I don't see many folks outside of independently wealthy City Hipsters really sticking with it for the long-haul ;) This is also the city where Dylan's Candy Bar resides, so.... XD

I highly doubt I could ever do business at the level she's doing, especially considering how sprawled Toronto is compared to NY. I remember walking a lot of that city and I was impressed with how many people could live in such a small land-space!
But yeah, Manhattan, eh? :)
