It's not every day that you get a Cookie order from Mexico - one of my old co-workers from Salt+Light Television asked me to make a Giant Cookie for his sister-in-law in Oakville, and how am I to turn down such a special order? :)

I'll also add that this is the first time that I have written Spanish in my lifetime, and the first time I've written Japanese in probably about 4 years - thank goodness he gave me what to write! Plus, this is also the first time I've used icing to write two different languages! :D

That's awesome!!! How well do your baked goods preserve on cross-continent shipment? Let's say I wanted to place an order (NYC)... would they survive without exorbitant overnight shipping? Or is that the only way? Sorry if I've asked this before; I honestly can't recall :O

I've had trouble shipping products even to Montreal and Halifax - the reason being that I don't use any preservatives and I deliver within a day of making the order. It's definitely something that I need to research - if I'm going to deliver anywhere due to demand from outside of the city (such as yourself) I need to know how much it's going to cost - and maybe, just how many cookies would be worth the shipping as well!

I would also look into shrinkwrapping or vacuum-sealing but I can't imagine that would be cheap to do... Let me try something with Ziploc bags and I'll get back to you on that. :D

Holy cow, nice work man! :D You had nothing to be worried about, that's beautiful :)

Aww, thanks :D I need to buy a few extra writing tips, though - I'd like some consistency in the thickness of the writing ;P

...your Japanese in icing is far more legible than mine is with a pen. ^^;

That looks fabulous!

Thanks! I have a feeling that my Japanese pen-writing would be equally terrible. I am very thankful that I was able to print out the characters in 72-point text so that I could examine every stroke.

(And no, I did not follow stroke order. If the customer paid that much attention to the writing, I would be impressed. ^^)

Oh man, you're totally right! I never thought about that XD - right down to the two-tone colours.
