Say, Professor, did you know that your first movie, "Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva", is going to be released for English-speaking people?

My word, that is exciting news! Makes me want to -- stand up and dance!

But on the table, Professor? Isn't that a little -- dangerous?

Nonsense, my dear boy! I'm perfectly balanc-- oh--

Oh dear. What was a rather … dramatic fall, if I do say so myself.

Waiter, would you mind for another pot of tea for a celebration? ~~END~~

He's got himself a little spot on the shelf now, reading his book and enjoying his cup o' tea. :) The figure is incredibly expressive and adjustable! He also comes with a box full of other 'hands' and items - did you notice the pen? It's detailed enough to show that it's a fountain-tip. The tea in the cup is transparent! I'm very impressed with the detailing.
It also came with this curious card. I'm certain a few of my more musically-inclined friends can decode the strange symbols. ;)
I'd link you to my Play-Asia link but it's unfortunately already sold out! I got mine from AmiAmi, and as of this writing, only 3 left at roughly $20Cdn apiece. I'm sure if you looked around a bit you could find it.
Alright, off to bake some cookies!

They actually made a cup with tilted tea for when he's holding it at an angle? <3

And yes, if you even notice the teacup on the table in the first picture you'll see it's even there, but the "holding a cup of tea" hand has it tilted! The attention to detail is amazing.

Here's a decryption of the notes:
G-E-D-C-B-C
D-C-F-(rest)-G
E-C-E-C-A
Something tells me that if I could read the Japanese beneath the notes on the first staff (it looks like a legend to decrypt a message below), it would make a lot more sense.

However - woah, not a single note matches up to the ones given in the decryption legend! It's not as simple as it looks, all of a sudden. o.o

1/32, 3/4, 1/32, 1/16, 1/4, 1/16
1/4, 1/16, 1/2, 1/4, 1/2
Er... 3/32, 1/2, 1/16, 1/8, 1/32
Or what the notes happen to be called in Japanese, or anything, I don't know.

Furthermore, I've noticed that the URL links to a contest (http://www.union-creative.jp/revoltech), where there are 30 winners of what appears to be a "bronzed" Layton. It looks like you just have to e-mail them the answer to this puzzle... *ponders* and a deadline of April 15th. I bet that even if we got this puzzle, they wouldn't ship it out to Canada...
Heck, since none of us really read Japanese, it's pretty difficult to even see if we're on the right path! XD

SO CUTEEEEEEE I love your little photo comic! The poses are great and go along so well with your narration! I wish I was talented enough to pose figures into little schticks like this, but I'm crappy with poses and photography. I guess I'll stick to drawing for now ;)

I've never been good with setting a scene (as evidenced by the backgrounds) but it was on my mind and I just wanted to play around with my new toy. I'm glad you like it!
