It's been a while since I made a decent post, so here's what I want to talk about.
The new Scott Pilgrim trailer. Badass. :D
Speaking of "Badass", I'm getting through the Maximum Ride novels rather fast. I'm kinda surprised at this, myself, but they're easy reads. The manga is also a nice take on the novels (with incredible detail).
I appear to have pulled some muscles in my back, as of 2 weeks ago. It's mostly better right now, but as I got YsaScowl while Chris and Ysa were in town, I've gone to my doctor to get a referral. He tells me I might not need the referral for the medical insurance. This is good to hear, regardless. Once I get some time, I'll visit a physiotherapist and get some exercises to help regain my back. (And no, my shoulderblades don't hurt, this time it's just my tailbone area.)
I got my tax return back, and I applied the entirety to my Line of Credit Debt. I am this close to being debt-free (aside from the mortgage). It's incredibly uplifting. :D
The new season of Doctor Who is a lot of fun. It appears that they're really hamming it up, and I like it. But before I watch any more episodes, I need to play catch-up and watch the rest of Seasons 2 through 4. That'll take me a while, no doubt...
I picked up "Trauma Team" for the Wii. It's not a surprise that I haven't picked up Super Mario Galaxy 2 yet, since a) I'll be able to find that game anywhere, no matter what year it is, and b) Trauma Team will be incredibly hard to find due to its low production run (it's Atlus, they know how to make their games collectable). In any case, I'm really enjoying it! At last, a Trauma game that doesn't focus on everything being time-restrained and reflex-heavy. I like the Diagnostician and the Crime-Scene-Investigation games. It sounds like this will be a fun game.
With the Anime North convention come and gone, I feel like my priorities are shifting. I worked a great deal of the time in the Dealer's Room, saw people for meals, and while I took money out for the con, I only bought one book (a Kino no Tabi artbook, and a few books from te Dealer's Table as payment) and spent the remainder on food (I guess; I don't know exactly where the money went, and food seems likely).
ginny_t and
kawaii_miss_s had a good idea, of only coming on the Sunday, to see the Fanpeeps. I don't want to escape the convention completely, but I think I need to rethink the overspending. I haven't watched anime for quite some time. The most anime I've watched this year was when we had the Gathering last weekend, and that was only 2-3 episodes. I have dozens of DVDs still in their shrinkwrapping, un-enjoyed. I have DVD cases on the shelves that have gotten more sundamage and dust than fingerprints. *sigh* It's a little disheartening... in any case, I'll be revisiting my plans for the convention next year. I may need to focus more on the Bakery, too...
I've felt like I've been running around for the past little while, a little aimlessly. I need to get back into the habit of carrying around either the Notepads with my hand-scrawled notes or the Palm with my spelling-error-laden cryptic texts. I'm concerned that I'm forgetting stuff, and I really need to get more organized...
Alright, that's it for now. Thanks for listening, I've been meaning to write for quite some time. It's very therapeutic to get this out. :D

Though, I can listen to any other DVDs that are in English... I listen to Whose Line a lot, or Commentary tracks, since I just enjoy hearing the voices in the other room. :)

I'm a bit torn at this point in time.
