So yeah, yesterday was a busy day in driving around and getting little tasks done, today was a busy day at home making Cuppies and trying to clean up my Desktop computer.

I feel very accomplished, though, since I've pretty much gotten through everything that I wanted to deal with, with the exception of cleaning up my Desktop computer entirely. There's at least 10 years of crud in there that I have to sift through, and I don't know why I kept .gif files of animations of Shermie (what is that, King of Fighters?) or little rolling emoticons. Did I think that I would never find them again?

I also managed to find a whole bunch of games and music that I downloaded and never listened to, including Prozzak's "Cruel Cruel World" which was their third album when they were bought by Disney or somesuch. Regardless, cleaning out all these "random" folders (I have music videos that I downloaded through LimeWire, this was pre-YouTube, people!) has been incredibly therapeutic and brain-unraveling. I still have a bit more to go through, but I'm glad that I'm getting it all sorted out. This also means I'm getting closer to having all my SBB files consolidated into one handy location. I've been stressed about having all these old copies laying around. Finally, I'll have it all together!

I also just bought a 2-Terabyte Hard Drive to backup all of my other drives (3 of them!) so that I can have some peace-of-mind, since I've never had a true "crash", it's bound to happen at some point ;)

Here's a bunch of neat links that I wanted to share. ^^

- Look Around You is getting a North American DVD release! I was not aware they were on Adult Swim, but I saw them on SuperChannel instead. That's where I started getting knowledge of Peter Serafinowicz.
- 10 Awesome Safes. I'm impressed with the iceberg lettuce and bread loaf safes. And a partially-melted candle is definitely not something a thief would be looking to snatch...
- The Cardboard Box that can fit anything. What an odd design, and I'm sure many post office workers would hate to cart a bunch of these around, but if it lets you wrap around that odd horn-shaped protrusion without packing peanuts, then so be it!
- http://www.whatthefuckshouldimakefordinner.com/... pretty self-explanatory. XD
- This will be dangerous if I can gather the ingredients together... Homemade Snickers Bar Recipe.
- Here's a great article (from last year) about the Menagerie Pet Shop. It's been around for 30 years, and it started as a labour of love. Awesome :D
- the alot is better than you at everything, a funny look at internet commenters. :D

I should be sleeping. ^^ Have a good night/day/whatever time it is out there!

Cruel Cruel World is really recent, it's well post-Disney!

Those safes, and that box, are amazing. XD

I thought Prozzak got bought-out to become part of Disney's Afternoon TV, and one of their songs (Get a Clue (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jTC1onUNcE), when they were called "Simon & Milo") became popular on a show or something... then again, I am talking about Prozzak. I haven't listened to any of their music in forever (and [livejournal.com profile] sierralad had me listen to Omobolasire (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAxwl1HXjpM) to get another song out of my head XD)

Maybe this was all in my head or something! That's my "today project" :P

No, you're right, the Disney stuff happened! Hence my saying that this album happened after that Disney stuff ^^ I guess they got the rights back after the show didn't pan out...

Ah, the wikipedia knows all most - it mentions that their most recent album is more "mature" than the other albums, but it doesn't talk about the show at all.

It looks like Prozzak's had quite a pass-around with the record labels. 4 albums and 4 labels (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prozz%C3%A4k#Albums). It's too bad; I really liked their pop-y stylings and odd animation style.

"McCollum's creativity gives Prozzäk its unique sound."

I'm not surprised to hear that... I didn't think it was coincidence that the new album A) doesn't feature any of the same creative flexibility that I loved about the previous two albums, and B) doesn't feature Milo speaking even once :P
