So this past weekend was TOPL, and last season I donated a gift certificate as a prize for their sponsorship on the TOPL page. The person who won it asked me to make some cookies and donate them back to the playoffs, which was a great idea.
I made a new "peanut butter" filling that mixes some icing sugar into it, bringing the consistency into a more sweet, less-dense, almost-caramelish filling, which was a great success with the chocolate-chip "Cuppies".
So much so, that the fiancé of the host (Denise) is asking me for an order of 4 dozen Cuppies for Wednesday, with the thought that she may order more (and in much bigger quantities) as they hold a lot of meetings with a lot of people. (Apparently she's given the task of heading to Costco with $300 for cookies every once in a while.) She's also told me she wants to make sure certain people are 'targeted' when she brings them in this week to try to entice them to order more. (And on top of that, she may ask me to make an order for their wedding, which will be in a couple of months.) This may be a nice little start. :D
Furthermore, the Bell Walk for Kids is holding a Bake Sale on Friday. I figure I can drop off a few dozen cookies for that, as well. People here love my Cuppies. :D

And seriously, I know it seems like I'm joking, but you must haul your but down here with more. There's cash for them, to be sure, but sooner rather than later, since sooner is rapidly running out. I may need an order for the weekend.
