I overdid it again last night. Woke up in the middle of the night with a bit of heartburn, which is new. :S Thank Gawd we had Pepto. I passed right back out after that incident. That's it, no more heavy foods for the rest of the week.

Closed-Captioning porn must be the easiest job in the world, especially in French. Here's a sample from what one of the files looks like:

00:30:32 [Gémissemants]
00:46:47 [Gémissemants]
00:52:13 [Gémissemants]
01:21:01 [Légers Gémissemants]

And that's if there's no dialogue like "Ah, Oui!"

Edit: ...or even better, [propos en anglais]!

what does "propos en anglais" mean o.O

I think, "Speaking in English" (since that's what they're doing). They can't even be bothered to write out the English, as simple as it is ("You like this?")

It must be a lot of Copy-n-Paste... :P

Also! You feeling any better this morning? :(

Well, no heartburn this morning, thankfully! Heartburn is new to me. I've been relatively healthy for the majority of my life; this flu might've taken more out of me than I expected.

And, for what I can tell, the grapefruit I ate this morning isn't causing any gastrointestinal woes. ^^ But I'm definitely thinking that I need to stay away from butters and heavy creams, y'know, hard-to-digest things, at least for awhile.

Thanks for the concern!

Man, now that you mention it, a lot of my "I'm an old man now" symptoms seem to have set in following an illness of some sort... (whether the illness caused them, or was a symptom of their onset, I don't know...)
