Alright, clearing out more links... stop me if ya heard this one.

- Play Pac-Man with your car, help Waze with their roadmap. It's an interesting idea; I'd love to see something like this (or similarly, Treasure World from the DS) combined into my GPS where I can "gain points" based on where I travel - though money would be nicer ;) I know the system's running Windows Mobile; it shouldn't take that much... (sez me, the non-computer programmer...)
- Steampunk Laptop. I love the turnkey power button. The gear covering is also just eloquent; I want that on a wall.
- How to construct a Big Daddy Costume. Wow. At first I thought this was a full-size mockup, but no, halfway through it's possible to wear the suit. (also, [livejournal.com profile] sarcasm_hime gets props for a couple of her shots.) I love how the drill spins. It looks so powerful.
- Ever plan on being homeless? Just casually trying it out for a day or two? Know your Hobo Symbols. I have yet to actually see a single one of these symbols anywhere, but I have a feeling I'm just not really actively looking that hard. What I find strange is about how contradictory some of them are (an "X" means "alright", or three forward-slashes mean "not safe"?).
- Fan-Made Ace Attorney Anime Opening. Nice. Also, I'll mention it right now, there's a demo available for the DS of the new Ace Attorney Investigations game coming out in roughly a week-and-a-half. I keep forgetting that I can download demos to my DS through the Wii. But I hardly use that Nintendo Channel anyways!
- Been a while since I saw this commercial for Powerthirst (thanks, [livejournal.com profile] sandwichboy!)
- Hey Ash, Whatcha Playing takes on Yoshi's Cookie. Andrew finally gets his revenge on Ash.
- Some people are incredibly talented at some things which I can't fathom. This guy plays the Rhythm Heaven Lockstep game on two DSes, at the same time. I have enough trouble with one DS.
- Gaming Cocktails! Now I don't drink that much, but I want to try a couple, they sound kinda neat.
- Tweenbots. A cute-looking robot with no actual sense of direction other than forward and a flag stating where they want to go, will humans help them out? An interesting test on making robots approachable and therefore more likely to be received well by the general public. They look adorable, yes. I probably would've followed one like a baby duckling for a bit, just to see where it was going.
- The Adventures of Duane and BrandO singing the Mega Man 2 songs as raps.
- Here's a couple of oddbeat reviews of a couple of offbeat games that I loved playing as a kid: Monster Party (man, that game was all kinda of f'ed up) and Impossible Mission (man, that game was all kinda of awesome).
- Ever wonder how they get stripes in toothpaste? H2G2 explains all.
- Man, I'd love my desk to be as cool as these ones. Or at least as neat and tidy...
- The First building Nintendo was housed in. Pretty meager for that huge company, now...
- Why Computers suck at Math. A bit of tech stuff in there, but amusing to read, nonetheless.
- I'd like to separate this one from the rest because it's just stupid, but if you're here this far, congrats. Hasbro's made a New Clue game that allows you to use a cellphone to receive text messages - and it's not a fake cellphone, they're using actual cellphones. This really irks me. This goes along with the same theory of planned obsolescence. What happens when text messaging is no longer available? What happens whenever Hasbro decides to stop running their Clue Text-Messenger program? Why does Clue really, honestly, need cellphones?
- On the completely opposite side of the spectrum, I like the Round Monopoly board - but I hate the electronic money (with "a chip" on the card!)
- Jigazo Puzzle allows you to create anything with its puzzle pieces. Send in a picture and they'll send you a "code" to assemble that picture with the universal pieces. That is awesome.
- Albino Hedgehog is really overweight -- but so cute XD Also, the name of the wildlife hospital - St Tiggywinkles. XD
- KITTY'S COMING FOR YOU!
- Pixar doesn't have cubicles, apparently - they have huts. Or sheds, your pick. ^^
- If this is what Amazon.co.uk's Distribution Center looks like, I can only imagine what the North American ones look like. That's massive.
- Care4Less, a way to care for those who don't care. (i.e. a mock donation site. Amusing.)
- Gin no Sara commercials. Apparently they have a long-running gag about punishing people for not ordering from them, ranging from dropping them in pits or having crabs haunt you in your bathtub. Strange but quite funny :D
- Research shows that people really love bacon. NO. Really? (I haven't read SinFest in ages. I should grab the compilation.)
- Anyone follow the L33tStr33t Boys? No? Hate Auto-Tuned Vocals? Then stay away from Meet Me At Comiket. The animation's minimal on the video. I can't even remember what the song was that first drew me to them so many years ago, anyways... Oh yes, it was Yuri the Only one for Me, which actually quite witty ^_^

And with that, I think I'm done ... at least for now! Knocked down my e-mail inbox from 40 unread to 20, almost there!

Have I sent you anything from "The Areas Of My Expertise" yet? :) An entirely made-up history of Complete World Knowledge, by John Hodgman, the PC from the "I'm a Mac and I'm a PC" ads?

http://books.google.com/books?id=sKcdsD1v12oC&pg=PA117

Don't mind the in-progress list of 700 hobo names along the left side of the page ;)

(my goodness, Google Books really is Youtube for the printed page, isn't it..)

"There is an awesome hedge maze in this town." XD

I tried reading that book, but I guess I wasn't in the zone for it, because I found it to be really dry, and oddly enough, boring. Maybe I'll revisit it later on when I have less things on my plate, and maybe I'll just read random sections.

Aw drat, I was going to link you to "The Meaning of Liff" but unfortunately it's not in there (yet). ^^

Yeah, the fun thing about that book is you can really just pop it open... you might miss out on an in-joke, but you'll probably eventually wind up back at it after long enough ;) (For that matter, some of his in-jokes are referencing LATER pages in the book anyway!)

Also, I can do you one better than those photos of the outside of Nintendo's old building...

There's something almost magical about this video, like it's such a mystery.

Ahhh, that's great!! :D The actual building... and no-one's allowed in, and yet they have a display of Nintendo hanafuda...

A bit of Urban Exploration combined with Video Game Geekery. Awesome :D
