So, I have these text files on my computer from whenever, right? They've got cryptic names like www.txt, untitled.txt and temp.txt and they're just loaded with tons of URLs. Some of the URLs are dead now. However, in hoping to figure out why I saved these URLs in the first place, I decided to do a little searching and managed to find their new homes.

- Taste-Testing Chocolate-covered Cherries. I seriously don't know why I saved this link, but my eyes just floated to the URL immediately - "iasshole.org" and "ow_my_pancreas" were in the original URL.
- An Interview with Ted Woolsey, who handed translations of many of Square's 16-bit games.
- Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam... a cross-promotion between Spamalot and Spam itself. It's a catapult-launching game, but you launch cows. I like it :D
- It's a bit old (heck, ALL these links are "a bit old"), but here's an article on how to hack your SNES/NES pads to work with the Wii, wirelessly. This is totally out of my range of abilities. :P
- IndyGamer's Top 20 Adventure Games of 2006. Yes, very, very old. Now that adventure games are making a comeback though, this seemed more appropriate.
- FlareGamer. Originally I had a link to their review of 300 for some reason, but the site still seems to be fairly up-to-date (and local), though the light-blue on lighter-blue is hard to read...
- Lucid TV. Kinda creepy webcomic which appears to be on hiatus. I don't think I'll return there for fear of nightmares O.o
- I am robot and proud. It appears to be a music group. (I've learned something today - aside from an "Ontario, California" which can be condensed to "Ontario, CA", apparently there's a "Toronto, CA" as well. Must be confusing for postal workers.)
- I used to read Bash.org all the time at S+L. I haven't visited in a long time. But here's an "upgrade" joke from there. Again, it's old now though...
- from [livejournal.com profile] ravenworks: 50 Best Local-Area commercials of all-time. I just want to get through these links so I'll look at that one later ;)
- Korpiklaani, another music group. I have no idea why I have this in my URL list.
- 5 Ways to Boost your Energy from About.com, the place to go for "Altmedicine". ;p
- Another link I'll have to visit again later, Studio Trophis, but they shuttered their doors last month. The URL I had (to their download section) doesn't work anymore, so I'm not sure what I wanted to download, per se...
- Strip Generator. Create your own webcomic strips, though it crashed my browser...

Among other URLs I decided not to bore you with:
- 5.1 Home Theatre roundups. I don't need one now, and the articles are now 2 years old, so they're quite outdated. (And the equipment listed is still probably just as expensive as it was 2 years ago...)
- Other people's LJ entries that I think I just never watched/read. Some of the links were from now dead/purged journals, others linked to Youtube videos which were now dead, sadly. However, a link from [livejournal.com profile] sarcasm_hime still worked: Christopher Lee singing "Toreador" from Carmen. :D
- "Shark Tank" blogs about IT. Sounds like a standard IT blog, if you ask me...
- Gameflaws.com. Site's a placeholder now.

I'd better post this set of links, and feel better about cleaning up at least 1 of 5 textfiles before it crashes Firefox again and completely wipes out this work.

Woah, the casing on my laptop's battery has snapped O_o Guess I need to find a new battery! It's about time, too - I've had this laptop for like, a year, and the battery can't hold a charge for longer than 5 minutes, and it doesn't even register correctly in either Windows or Linux, so it's about time to replace it :P

I listen to Player One every week :D I might've sent you that Woolsey interview, it was how I got into them to begin with too ;) (Though you might've gotten into them at the same time, from whatever place I found that same interview..)

and it's not that confusing for postal workers, that's why we have postal codes ;)

Right, right, geez, what'm I thinking ^^ Heck, that's how they sort these days, right? The postal code is the name and side of the street you live on, aside from the actual address that's pretty precise from 6 characters!

I saw I Am Robot And Proud a couple of years ago at Sneaky Dee's. It was a totally surreal show, and very enjoyable.
