Thanks, everyone, for giving me that reaffirmation that I was looking for. I guess work's overnights really does get to me sometimes.
Here, I've got something I just HAVE to show you. It's a short film called "The Third and the Seventh", and I want you to watch this. It's slow, but it's relaxing and I found it to be just an incredible piece of work with some incredible focus pulls/depths. I would highly recommend clicking-through to the Vimeo website just so that you can watch it in High-Def and fullscreen.
Now. That was all done in CG. I knew that going into the film and yet, it took me about halfway through to realize that it was computer-generated. I'm astounded. Really, I can't really put words to this, it's just a wonderful, completely relaxing, piece of work that is just fascinating to watch.

By the way, there's a short compositing video (http://vimeo.com/8200251) that shows a couple of the scenes that were shot. I'm still amazed. Reality is being overshadowed by virtuality!

You mean for everyone and not just furries this time? :D
Man, that compositing video is just crazy. X3 There must be just so much that you need to have a sense for to get this all right...
