I've been really busy for the past few days, and for some reason I've been rather productive, too - even though it's been taking me hours to wake up some days. I only have one more overnight shift to endure before I'm done them forever! :D However, as stated, I've been waking up/falling back asleep and then not getting stuff done, feeling bad about it, and then managing to get myself out of bed the following day and totally do everything - a couple of days ago I ended up going out and buying a mini-muffin pan, picking up a book at the library, made cookies, taking pictures of said cookies for the site, made dinner (pasta w/meat sauce) for my overnight shifts, and even managed to squeak in some time to chat online and futz around with games, and then went to work. Yesterday I feel productive, even though technically a lot of the stuff I did was virtual on my new computer (which I haven't really broken-in yet with a good game that'll tax the system). Even now, I feel like I'm running-off at the mouth as I rush to get the post done so that I can sleep and then get up, make more cookies (for more pictures, for the site update), etc, etc, etc...
Did I mention that while I was "cleaning up" the hard drives, I found a couple of text files, stuffed with URLs? I guess this was before tabs and save+close options were around, so I've got a collection of links to dump. Once I sift through them and see if any still exist, I'll post a few of the amusing ones.
Here's some interesting links I've been collecting recently:
Good Advice for Life. Christine also sent me a collection of wise words, written on post-its - because post-its make everything better :)
A collection of doorknob hangers from hotels. For some reason the simplicity in these images really strikes me.
An older article on The Crazed World of Japanese Boxart. I'm intruiged, naturally, about a couple of them - mainly Kemeko DX and Chaos; Head Noah. Seriously. I saw the teaser video for Chaos; Head Noah and I'm really intruiged, because the cover does not explain ANYTHING. The video is batshit gonzo and for some reason, I want to play it (even if it's a "visual novel" game).
Some reimagined video-game covers as if they were Classic Books. I really like that Killer7 one.
