Wow. They remade M.U.L.E. (the 1983 PC game) and made it a web-enabled game.

I really want to play this. I never got the chance to play it back when I was in my Commodore64 days (I had to do with another game by Ozark, Robot Rascals). I would love the chance to have a friendly game of M.U.L.E. with some friends.

Who wants to play? :)

Well, their download page implies that they're planning a Debian package of the client...

I like that :) Theoretically I'll be able to play on my laptop!

I wonder if the multiple platforms means that the game is cross-platform, too.

I've heard really good things about this game, but I know literally nothing about it other than it involves some kind of economy. (I assume there are mules? :P)

Yep, the MULEs are the machines that do all the gruntwork of collecting resources for you. (They also happen to look like mules.) The more MULEs you own the more you can make, and it's a game of economy, so he who finishes with the most stuff at the end of the game wins.

Well, if you want to organize something, and you don't mind waiting for a total noob, consider me interested. ;)
