Ohhh, I'm soo stuffed... geez, my eyes are bigger than my stomach sometimes... I think I had too much stuffing O_o

I'm not getting into horror-metal or whatever it's called, but I got a sampler CD from Spencer Gifts with 4 Rob Zombie tracks on it, and they're fitting for Hallowe'en. I've been listening to it for the past week.

Where is that Phantasmagoria game? *looks for it* I guess I'm getting into the Hallowe'en mood, but I'm gonna be working Hallowe'en evening... ::sux::

Worthless Winged Bishounen. Yep, that sounds like me, but I can never be bish. O_o

Important Information Outlined below

I had a thought... (yeah, that's dangerous, I know. ^_^) I wonder how much a return ticket to Japan and 1 week of a hotel stay would cost me. A week of being in Japan would definitely refresh my mind. I'd need to find a hotel near either a major city (expensive), or one close to the temples (probably not much less).

What would I do?
-No doubt I'd look for anime stuff.
-I'd like to see the temples in the country and take in the sights.
-If I'm in a city, I'd like to see what gadgets are cool, maybe pick up a couple. ^_^

Maybe I could stay near Hiroshima and visit Bisa-sensei, a Japanese English teacher (Kodomo-Eigo).

The one thing that restrlcts me is my absolute lack of the Japanese language. I should revisit my Japanese lessons (Conversational Japanese 101).

I think it'd be great. Yeah. I'll probably go next year in the spring. I'd really like to do that. Sabrina tells me that a friend of a friend will be returning from Japan in a month. I hope that I can get some info from them.

... and I'm Fuu chan, dozo yoroshiku!! So you wanna go to Japan!!!! Cool... Ok. I am now going to impart my travelling wisdom.... Well, some tips anyway!! Hope you find this helpful and all that... and I'll be charging by the line for this info! [laughs] Just kidding! Anyway....
Internet research can come in handy. The thing to think about is how much money you wanna spend. If you're looking to go inexpensively then you really has to shop around for say, hotel and airfare and all that.
First, as to booking a hotel in Japan, looking on the net can be really beneficial. Some hotels have sites and if you book online then there can be discounts. I emailed the hotel I wanted as to whether they'd have a room for me first and they responded to me right away, so I really suggest that you do that.
You can try these sites, which is a general list of lots of hotels and inns in Japan:

Airfare is another thing. Just so you know, it's more expensive to go on a weekend... and you should really go to lots of different travel agent, some can have better deals than others because of the people they deal with. It's of course more depending on when you go... in spring, it'll be more 'cause it's tourist season, but times like now are less.. I'm going for about $1040 tax and security fees included. In spring and late summer, it's about $1500... And you don't need a visa to get into Japan if you're gonna be there less than 3 months..
Anyway, I also looked up some general info about Japan before I went, like Canadian embassies in Japan, emergancy phone numbers, weather, that kind of thing. I got lots of info at this site:

And if you need any questions answered, I'd be glad to help, if I can! Good luck!

Hey, thanks a lot! This will definitely help.

How much were your plane tickets? I'm thinking of going sometime in March next year, and the cost for a round-trip is about $1,080...

Glad to help, definately!! :]
My tickets are $1040 round trip.
As to the cost of tickets, where did you find your price? The thing to think about so far in advance is whether there'll be changes in the cost between now and then. Does your fee include tax?
Thanx for adding me to your friends list, I'll do the same for you, just to see how it goes!!
