I'm feeling rather low, and rather used...

So, someone is leaving the TV station I'm volunteering at.

What they are going to do is have me work for 2 weeks, taking their position (being paid, I hope - they didn't mention it). Following that, the other intern - who has been there for maybe 1.5 months - is working another 2 weeks of that person's shift, and they're evaluating OUR performances.

Needless to say, I'm not pleased. Neither is the person whom is leaving - they referred me. You'd think 8 months would at least garner something... maybe even seniority over the other interns...

Apparently I'm still not being fuckin' polite enough. So, for the next week or so, or however long they'll string me along, I'm gonna be sugar-sweet and overly polite and we'll see.

Hm... does good composition and shooting outweigh the personality? We'll see - considering there's a lazy-ass in this same position that I'm applying for, who doesn't do anything ever since he got a frickin' Nomad Jukebox... He doesn't even care about the show... and he's still here... WHY?

On a good side, it's always good to keep your parents in the know. My mom was speaking with the VP of Corus Entertainment and he's told her to have me call him to set up an interview, because YTV is going to go into some fancy restructuring when WTN moves to Toronto soon... so there's hope yet.

I'd love to see this play out:
"Well, we'd love to offer you a job here..."
"Unfortunately, I can't accept this position, as I am have been already hired by another company for a better salary and better, more-regulated hours."

Some would be completely and totally upset to see me go (Martin, you adore me so ^^), but it's a risk they're making right now.
