I saw this comic today in the newspaper, and I thought I'd share.



It's pretty true. We all have Call Display, and that's fine. Then we get Privacy callers. And if there are anyone on Privacy calls, it's most likely a telemarketer. (In my experience, anyway. Only one of our entire related family has a Private number, and it's because she's a teacher.)

Does anyone out there have "Privacy" or "Call Display Block" on their phone for when you make an outbound call? If so, why?

My Mom says "don't be a slave to the phone". *nods*

EDIT: I just had to look up "keister" for a co-worker. Dictionary.com returns "1. The buttocks", which, if you say in a strictly British tone, sounds absolutely hilarious for some reason. XD

My parents do, they say they don't want to display their number for when someone sees their number and don't want to pick up. They just don't want to be a part of that call display thing.

We have one or auntie mieke. She started calling over 5 times a day with winey stories. Mom barely ever picks up when she calls.
