So here's a few things that have been on my mind recently.

- This past Friday, I had to drop off a Silver Ball Bakery order at my old highschool, Earl Haig. I was told to "park in the caretaker's entrance to avoid getting a ticket" so I ended up entering the back of the school. It was a trip going back to the school after... oh, 13, 14 years? The place looks exactly as I remember, but with a completely unrecognizable set of kids. The fact that I also went in through the caretaker's entrance and wasn't questioned, I felt like I was sneaking about. I wouldn't mind going back to wander the halls and see just how much has changed.
- This past Saturday, I was driving down to my Japanese-Language course when I saw this old woman walking amongst the parked cars. Of all things, she approached my driver's-side window and asked if I could drive her down to a hospital down the street. I had NO idea where this hospital was, but my kind nature let her get in. Thankfully nothing happened (she was an elderly lady, after all!) and the hospital was on the way (just a bit south from where we were, the TTC just wasn't cutting it that morning)... it was a bizarre situation, but I can't say I felt pretty good for it to have happened. ^^
- For those of who who played Psychonauts, Double Fine has released it on the Mac recently, and has also released a free iPhone Add called the Psychonauts Vault Viewer, which lets you see all the characters' locked-away memories. It won't make much sense unless you've played the game, but there's some nice commentary with all the images, as well. :)
- I've been having some slowdown problems with my computer for quite some time now, and so I recently upgraded the memory (from 2GB to 4GB), and while that stopped Firefox from crashing, it was still slow. I noticed that usually the slowdown came from the DVD Burner spinning up, and it was prone to bad writes, so I just replaced it with a SATA-based drive (noticing that my old DVD Burner is 5 years old!), and now my computer's feeling pretty damn good. :D
- So many games, so little time :S

- And finally, as it's Hallowe'en tomorrow night, I've discovered (thanks to [livejournal.com profile] bunnyhero!) that Ghostbusters is playing at the Scotiabank Theatre at 7pm for $5. This is the kind of movies I want to see - not "remakes", not 'reimaginings", I want to see the originals at the theatre. :D As such, Christine and I are going to see it tomorrow night. I've already ordered the tickets online (you can too, by clicking here, then selecting October 31st, then clicking 7:00pm), is anyone else gonna go? Care to meet up?
