I woke up this morning with a strange feeling - the dream I had was with me and my fmaily, my Grandmother, and a large boat. Seeing that we have cottages that are near water, this doesn't seem so odd, but the boat was cruise-liner-sized, and somehow Grandma was driving it down rocky straits at top speed without a problem, which was fun and exhilarating - until she came across a more-open space, like a port for a town, when she would end up losing control and smashing the boat against the brick-lined docks.

The thing was, the boat seemed to have the video-game-physics behind it. Being huge, it had a lot of weight behind it and could move really well, but when we hit the dock, it just reared-up like a spooked horse and came crashing back down on the dock, seemingly undamaged but we had to get off it anyways because it needed (unseen) repairs.

I woke up just as I was being introduced to a person who told me that his friends never showed up, and he had bought a half-dozen chocolate-dipped donuts (that were shaped in the spiral of cinnamon buns but in a donut dough, somehow) and they had gone stale.

Honestly. I'm not sure what all that means (aside from the donuts, of course). A high-speed boatride suggests to me that it's warning me of something dangerous. I am not one to jump into situations quickly, so it's probably a precautionary tale.

Right, now I've gotta get the buttercream icing out of the fridge...
