I had an awesome time at the Santa Claus Parade this year! I haven't walked that much in ages (5 km!) so my body was paying for it today (my feet still ache, and my shoes are covered in gunk), but I didn't feel a thing while I was walking, waving, and shouting "Merry Christmas" to everyone passing-by! I loved it! :)
Here's some pictures of the Parade Floats, and one of a goofy-looking clown.. ;)
I have to remember to contact them a lot earlier next year. Maybe they can make an extra-tall upside-down clown for me. I almost didn't get used, since I was taller and being a Spare means I just get to pick what's left. A lot of the uniforms were for 5'4" and such - I was given a cowboy outfit (pants didn't fit), a blue bunny (a one-piece that didn't come up to my shoulders) and there was a chance for an upside-down clown but the height requirement was 5'6", very hard to get into if you're over 6 feet ^^
I'm sure I'll find more footage of myself as the week progresses on, but I happened to catch that my head (and only my head) popped into-view when Global broadcast the parade. When the Sobey's Truck is shown, you see my red wig and smiling face in the lower-right corner for about 3 seconds. XD There's also this Youtube clip where you see me in the B-shot of the wipe at 1:04, before the camera gets knocked out of the person's hands. There's gotta be better video of me around, everyone and their dogs were taking digital photographs!
