(no subject)

Well, I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna bite the bullet and... upgrade to Windows XP. :P

It's about time that I join this decade. I mean, Vista's out now, and I doubt my system can handle that firepower, but at the same time, I'm getting tired of having trouble with file sharing across two computers - I've been favoring the laptop for its portability, but it's frustrating to not be able to share files amongst the two computers. Windows 2000's Networking is so complex. I hope XP's is easier.

And yeah, why aren't I moving to Linux? Because my Desktop computer is my gaming computer, and Linux just isn't quite all there yet. Wine works awesomely, yes, and I've managed to get Grim Fandango to run on my Linux desktop (!) but I can't even get the first episode of Sam & Max to run as it requires a bit of DRM and IE know-how on Linux. :\
