LiveJournal's new UnDeadJournal looks ugly with the Red/White combo. Blegh.

[livejournal.com profile] lordshipmayhem linked to this incredible Library. If I was in the area, I would pay to stay in there for an hour. It looks gorgeous.

A friend of mine at work linked me to Mrs B's Country Candy, a homegrown business for candy. It sounds and looks yummy!

Here's a PC Case made of Lego Bricks. I'm tempted. I just need to find my old Legos. :)

I'm tempted to set up TVersity on my computer so I can stream it to my XBox. :) I haven't even looked at streaming on the XBox at all yet.

I found another t-shirt site similar to Threadless, but uses well-known phrases and slaps them on a shirt - SnorgTees. Admittedly, some of them are cool (I want a Save The Clocktower tee) but a lot of them I think are just random.

[livejournal.com profile] woekitten wrote an article about Video Games that make us cry (love the "River of Aeris") and she linked to a song from an old movie, "Free To Be... You And Me". I had to figure out who Rosey Grier was, so I went looking up Wikipedia, which then I found out that Rosey Grier was a football player, a Christian Minister, and ... a needlecrafter. What a change of venue. XD

I know that Earthworm Jim (Genesis version) was just released on the Wii's Virtual Console, I also have to note that Good Old Games has just recently opened, and they offer DRM-free versions of older games - like, say, Earthworm Jim 1 & 2 for the PC, for $6.

...and I just hung up on a random caller who tried to give me a free prize by answering personal questions. Unfortunately, I've been reading The Consumerist a lot recently, and I was really not willing to divulge this information, plus, I wasn't 30-plus yet - and the ticket stated I was within 30-79 years of age, and this ticket was last apparently written last December (i.e. I would've been 28), so, um, I wouldn't have entered otherwise. Ah well, I disqualified myself. All the best. :P

Your result for The Nerd? Geek? or Dork? Test...

Pure Geek

48 % Nerd, 74% Geek, 30% Dork

For The Record:

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.

A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.

A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.

You scored better than half in Geek, earning you the title of: Pure Geek.

It's not that you're a school junkie, like the nerd, and you don't really stand out in a crowd, like the dork, you just have some interests that aren't quite mainstream. Perhaps it's anime, perhaps it's computers, perhaps it's bottlecaps, perhaps it's all of those and more. Your interests take you to events and gatherings that are filled with people you find unusual and beyond-the-pale, but you don't quite consider yourself "of that crowd." Instead, you consider yourself to be fairly normal.

Which, you are.

Congratulations! You're the one on the RIGHT!
