Okay, so I tried making "strawberry leather", essentially dehydrated strawberry puree... well, um, I didn't leave it thick enough when I left it in the oven to dehydrate... and... well... now I have strawberry crisps. Which looks like incredibly brittle, strawberry-flavoured seaweed. XD
...It still sticks in my teeth, though. I think next time I need to add some sugar, too. It's like the difference between plantain chips and banana chips - which, I also recently discovered, are not dehydrated, but deep-fried. That can't be healthy.
