-I noticed recently that the TD Canada Trust ATMs are Diebold-made. Now, considering that I've heard nothing but about the (apparently hackable) voting machines made by the same manufacturers, I can't help but be a bit concerned about the security of my transactions.
-For my tea-drinking friends:
Later - much later - that morning I emerged once more from my pit at the usual time and staggered out into the kitchen to make a nice cup of tea. (Without tea there would be no Llamasoft, no coding and, indeed, no British software business at all. The lines of code flow out upon a river of tea; this marvellous substance lubricates and stimulates the synapses and helps them to fire in a manner conducive to the generation of practical and robust code. Tea begins and punctuates the day; whenever a moment's pause for thought is needed it is to the kettle that we turn, that humble appliance, ubiquitous in every British home, without which the wheels of industry would cease to turn. Many a cool idea or neat game embellishment began life in a head which had just recently taken a refreshing gulp of piping-hot PG).
-From History of Llamasoft, Part 9.
Hahahahaha-haha, Hohohohoho-hoho, Heeheeheeheehee-hee-hee, hey-hey-hey...
Christine found a show on YouTube called "Wonder Showzen". Go look it up, it seems to be a very politically-incorrect version of Sesame Street - right down to the very quick cuts and short attention span of child viewers. While surfing through that, we found Purdy the Dirdy Birdy. I am so hooked on the music from that piece, and no it's not the Spanish Flamenco-style music I am referring to. *laughs hard*
