According to the ISC/SANS website, Microsoft has released the WMF vunerability patch early. If you have Windows Update on auto-update, it should be downloading (or downloaded and auto-installed) on your computer right now.

Once you're certain that the official patch has been installed, you can uninstall the unofficial patch and re-register the DLL that you unregistered in the past. All the information necessary is on the link I posted.
