Having friends over to my place is always fun. Last night Dave and Erin came over, and David prepared a wonderful steak dinner for us with a side of Risotto. *drools* We also played some Donkey Konga, which was brought about by Gillian lending us a pair of Bongos (as she's in the midst of moving and lent me a pair of games)...
Which reminds me that Michael Flanagan (
freedunne) had turned another year older this past week. Christine and Gillian had set up a surprise party which went amazingly well. Mike was reluctant to enter the room when he realized what had been prepared for him ;) Happy Birthday, man. You're a good friend and I'm sorry that I've missed so many years with ya, but I hope that will change. :D
Aside from seeing Mike having a great time, I got to meet up with some friends who I hadn't seen in ages. I miss my highschool friends; I hope I can see them more often soon. :)
Christine's moving into her new apartment on December 10th. It's going to be so different when she moves out into her own place. It's been so comfortable having her around for everything for the past month, and I can't imagine what it's going to be like when she's not at my condo. It's going to look lonely. All the little things she does, like preparing a quiet dinner for us on Friday night, or geeking out on my bed with her wireless laptop (haven't had any more wireless problems, probabaly because I've stopped tinkering with it :P), and she continues to surprise me as we learn more about each other... *sigh* I am so touched and loved.
