SNOW! Well, there was snow yesterday, though it's gone... light and fluffy. :D

I remember reading a long time ago that once Bill Watterson (creator of Calvin and Hobbes) left drawing comics, he went to a secluded little town and just started painting. The article I had read was a reporter had gone to find him, acting on a little bird's knowledge as to which town he was in. The city, amazingly enough, kindly asked him to leave once they knew what the reporters' intent was. The entire city protected him.
In the same article it was stated that a rumour was that Watterson was painting his works - and then setting fire to them, since "the first thousand paintings are worthless".
I'd love to see his works. I've been reading through one of his old C&H compilations ("Yukon Ho!") and I just love the attention to detail that he puts in everything, his characters (and the settings) are incredible. I guess I wish he'd come out of hiding.
