Fun With Headlines
Kay Forrester, the chief night sub-editor (copy editor) for The Press, in Christchurch, N.Z., reports that one of her favorite sports headlines comes from a British newspaper. It describes a particularily one-sided soccer match between Celtic and Caledonian, known to its fans as the Callies. It read: "Super Callies go ballistic, Celtic are atrocious."
