Woofstock is happening this weekend, and no, that's not a typo. It's a dog festival! :P

I am still working my way through the ol' LJ entries. I'll catch up, I swear! :P

I helped Emily fix her neighbour's computer last night, though "fix" wasn't really the right wording for it... :P It's still kinda, to quote Zim, "It looks kinda... not good." Hopefully what I have here will work...

I think I've been overexerting myself again. I'm definitely going to make sure that I go home tonight and chill, as I feel a roughness in my throat which could be an onset of a cold again. Maybe I'll get down to writing up a con report like [livejournal.com profile] sandwichboy and [livejournal.com profile] sierralad have.

In the meantime, back to work. :P

My pirate name is:

Dirty Jack Bonney

You're the pirate everyone else wants to throw in the ocean -- not to get rid of you, you understand; just to get rid of the smell. You can be a little bit unpredictable, but a pirate's life is far from full of certainties, so that fits in pretty well. Arr!

Get your own pirate name from fidius.org.

About time! :P

I have to admit, there wasn't much for me to report about the con, as I worked a lot of the time... well worth it, though... I got a lot of swag for a great price. :D

There were two artbooks I was considering - one was a hardcover Haibane Renmei artbook, and the other was a Komugi-chan artbook. I decided that if they hadn't sold by the end of the con, I'd grab them - and they both sold. *shrugs* No worries on either. :)

I totally missed most of the panels. I went to the Lemon fic and the Furuba panels, and that was pretty much it. I never saw the AMVs, and apparently was better off not seeing them, but I must find the "Rocks and Trees and Trees and Rocks" video.

The Fanboys! confic reading went extremely well - playing Yugi was definitely interesting, but having Carnage take my Yu-Gi-Oh card and physically chew on it was awesome. It was so hard for me to not laugh during that part, and it had the entire room in stitches.

Phil's Omake Theatre was also incredibly cute and just as fun. :D He definitely needs to send that out to the Fanboys list (hint, hint).

There was a pool at the Doubletree hotel we stayed at... with waterslides. Oh. My. God. I haven't been on a waterslide for ages. I am so staying there next year, if Doubletree lets us. :D And going to the pool every night! :D

Swag collected:
Anime:
Saikano #4 (found it new for $15! O.O!!)
Oh! My Goddess OAVs (both discs)
Cosplay Complex
Landlock (found new for $8, and I've been wanting to check it out)
Steam Detectives #1, 3, and 4 (It's all I could find at a decent price, seems to be a rarity)
Manga:
Saikano #3&4
XXXHolic #3&4
DearS #1&2 (so I was intruiged... this is me! :P)
Other:
Zim Box/House :D

As I said previously, I hadn't done much more than work over the week - my real vacation was the week prior with Chris and Ysa, who planned to cram as much Toronto-based stuff as they could in the week before the con. We got good sleeps every night (okay, most nights), but man, we kept ourselves busy most of the time. :D

I already miss them terribly, unfortunately.

It's getting late for me, so I'm turning in. Nitenite :)
