So, over the course of the past 4 days, I have seen 3 instances of insanity.

Sunday evening was the case of the Father tossing his daughter off of a bridge onto the 401, before jumping and killing himself. (Reports today state that his psychiatrist said he was perfectly okay to take care of his child, while the daughter herself stated that she thought he was unstable.)

Tuesday morning, there was a man wandering Wellesley and Yonge with two large kitchen knives, threatening police officers before being pinned between a police cruiser and a bikestand. (OWWW! He really got pinned! *twitch*)

And today, we have a person who was attempting... something with a rental van in front of Queen's Park (where the demonstration of the farmers and their tractors was taking place), and set himself on fire inside the van. (He was quickly pulled from the van and extinguished. No doubt we'll hear more about this guy in the next few days.)

Psychiatric tests for all! And little pills for some...

I've discovered that the Metro (our free daily newspaper, aside from 24Hours) has recently added a "Take Five" fun section, which includes comics and word puzzlers. Since I was considering contacting them about 2 months ago with the idea of giving them Picture Crosswords, I e-mailed them and asked if they were still accepting submissions. They said yes. :D I'm going to work on some 15x15 Picrosses as a sampler and send them to Metro ASAP.
