So it appears the rumour was true - Six Apart has purchased LiveJournal. It appears that the business itself is being sold, so now LJ has management, but the Danga employees (those who work on LJ) are just moving to San Fran and continuing as per the usual, and with more style(s). What I'm wondering about is what they're going to do with their walls povered in Postcards! :P

This morning, I went to my window, expecting to see a winter storm that was called for Midnight of last night. Not a single snowflake was in the air. I read the Metro Today and discover the weather was pushed back to 8am. At this point, it was 7:53, so I was skeptical. As I was entering the station earlier this morning, I was being pelted with hundreds of miniature sphere-shaped needles. Now it appears that it's just raining needles. Erk.

The weather storm we were supposed to have turned from those spherical needles in the morning to fluffy white snow around noon, and then completely evaporated into nothingness by the end of the day.

Some "storm". Hrm. If anything it just made everything very wet and slippery. Water everywhere, splashing us as cars drove by on the streets.

I've really gotta be more productive at night. I haven't done anything other than a load of laundry, and talking online. Well, the talking online is good. But I mean I should look into doing things like organizing the messes (or perhaps at least cleaning up said messes) so that the place looks presentable tomorrow.

Hrm. Come to think of it, I have an hour to clean up this place before I sleep (and I'm gonna collapse, my arms feel like lead) and then go to work, and then have people over, so maybe I should clean this place up a bit more. ^^;;

1. Go To Mapquest.com
2. Click on Directions
3. Enter your Current Address and the Address of your Childhood Home (or at least the town if you don't remember the exact address)
4. Put the time and distance in a post like this.
5. Don't forget to repost these directions. (Not the door to door ones)

Total Est. Time: 10 minutes
Total Est. Distance: 5.87 miles

Wow, and that's by taking the highway. But the way it takes it is a bit convoluted - I would've grabbed the DVP to get on the highway, not driven to Leslie before getting there, so my ride may be even shorter (in terms of time, but longer in terms of distance travelled).

It would've been even closer if I still lived with my parents. XD

I wonder what they've done with the place. I've heard from my sister that it's the only house that hasn't been renovated since we left. All the other houses on the street have been, in some form.
